2. Visiting the website

Cloudflare delivers this website. Each visit involves processing technical connection data, including your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, response status and, where supplied by your browser, the referring page.

This is necessary to deliver the pages, keep them functioning and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is reliable and secure operation. The website cannot be delivered without the necessary connection data.

The recipient is Cloudflare, Inc., USA, as our technical service provider. Cloudflare operates a global network, which may involve processing outside the EU or EEA. Its safeguards for international transfers, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures, are documented in the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.

We do not set up our own permanent storage of individual access logs. The provider processes technical and security data only for as long as needed for operation, preventing or investigating disruptions, or legal requirements. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for further information.

3. Cookies, fonts and embedded content

This website does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies. We do not use tracking pixels, externally loaded webfonts, embedded maps or social media plugins. Images and stylesheets are served with the website. There is no contact form or newsletter.

Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security checks. Any such access to your device serves only to provide and secure the requested service (section 25(2), point 2 of the German TDDDG). Personal data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional analytics and marketing services are not enabled.

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your email address, message, voluntary information, attachments and technical delivery data to answer your enquiry. support@balloonly.app forwards messages to info@apptheism.de. Our email service is provided by IONOS SE, Germany. See the IONOS privacy policy for the provider’s information.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when the enquiry concerns a contract or steps prior to a contract. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is communicating with interested people and handling support requests.

Providing these details is voluntary. Without a reply address and the information needed to understand your question, we may be unable to respond. We delete enquiries once they have been resolved and further retention is unnecessary. Where legal retention requirements apply, or correspondence is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, deletion follows the expiry of those periods or the end of that purpose.

5. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for future processing.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). Please use the contact details above.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
